Audiometric Testing

Audiometric tests or audiograms, measure an individual's ability to hear sounds at different pitches and intensities. Hearing loss is common on worksites where noise exposure and excessive noise exist. Hearing loss is gradual and usually is not recognized until their ability to communicate with others is affected.
Detection of Hearing Loss can be accomplished through baseline and periodic audiometric testing.

Mask Fit

Fit testing is crucial for workers who require respiratory protection in their jobs, especially in settings where they may be exposed to hazardous airborne substances. Healthcare workers, construction workers, industrial workers, and first responders are examples of professionals who may undergo mask fit testing.
It's important to note that fit testing should be performed regularly, as factors like weight changes, facial surgeries, or significant dental work can impact the fit of the mask. Additionally, individuals should be trained in proper mask donning and doffing techniques to ensure they wear their masks correctly.

Hair Follicle Testing

Hair samples can detect a much longer period of drug use.    By comparison, the industry standard is to test 1.5 inches of head hair for approximately 90 days of history.  This is important in pre-employment testing where most candidates are aware that a drug test might be required and can otherwise abstain accordingly.
